We, the members of the BMM 2024 India Programs Committee (‘Committee’), are excited to invite entries for musical, theatrical, informational, and other programs from “India” for the BMM 2024 Convention to be held in San Jose, California, from 27 June to 30 June 2024 (‘Convention’).
To submit a program entry, please use the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) form to provide information about your program
Naatak
Full length (120 to 180 minutes) play performed in a theater setting.
Stand-up comedy
Up to 90 minutes stand up comedy act.
Workshop
Any informational presentation (Up to 90 minutes) about the topics that may be appeal to the Convention audience.
Kavya Vachan
Marathi poetry- based program (Up to 90 minutes).
Parisamvad
Panel discussion for any topic that may be of interest to the Convention audience (Up to 90 minutes).
Dance Program
Any entertaining dance performance (Up to 90 minutes).
Kathakathan
(Up to 90 minutes).
Social service organization/NGO
Programs promoting information about work done by social service organizations (Up to 90 minutes).
Other
Any program that does not fit into any of the above categories but will be interesting to the Convention attendees. (Up to 90 minutes).
Musical Program
Any entertaining musical program (90 to 120 minutes).
Selection Process
- Interested participants must respond to the RFP.
- Final proposals will be accepted till October 1, 2023.
- The Indian Programming Team will review the submitted questionnaire and permitted attachments (if any), and fill in the assessment matrix.
- Proposal Entries will be discussed for coverage considered for selection based on subject, time, audience appeal, audience-fit, expertise, and cost (any production costs beyond space, audio and lights that are provided at the venue).
- The selected programs will be communicated to the appropriate teams by October 21, 2023.
