We, the members of the BMM 2024 North America Programs Committee (‘Committee’), are excited to invite entries for musical, theatrical, informational, and other programs from North America for the BMM 2024 Convention to be held in San Jose, California, from 27 June to 30 June 2024 (‘Convention’).
To submit a program entry, please use the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) form to provide information about your program.
Sameep Ekankika
Up to 45 minutes one-act play performed within the audience in an interactive setting.
Ekankika
Up to 45 minutes one-act play performed in proscenium style.
Stand-up comedy
Up to 15 minutes stand up comedy act.
Workshop
Any informational presentation for up to 30 minutes about topics that may appeal to the BMM audience.
Kavya Vachan
Program of Marathi poetry for up to 45 minutes duration.
Parisamvad
Panel discussion for up to 30 minutes on any topic that may interest Convention attendees.
Kathakathan
Up to 10 minutes of kathakathan (Marathi language preferred).
Dance Program
Any dance program for up to 90 minutes duration.
Documentary
Informational film of <20 mins duration.
Short Film
Film of <10 mins duration.
Social service organization/NGO
Up to 15 minutes - Programs promoting information about work done by social service organizations.
Other
Any program that does not fit into any of the above categories but will be interesting to the BMM community.
Musical Program
Any musical program for up to 90 minutes duration.
Selection Process
- Interested participants must respond to the RFP.
- Final proposals will be accepted till October 1, 2023.
- The North America Programming Team will review the submitted questionnaire and permitted attachments (if any), and fill in the assessment matrix.
- Proposal Entries will be discussed for coverage considered for selection based on subject, time, audience appeal, audience-fit, expertise, and cost (any production costs beyond space, audio and lights that are provided at the venue).
- The selected programs will be communicated to the appropriate teams by October 21, 2023.
