Get ready for an exciting event at the much-awaited BMM Convention over three days from 27 June 2024, in San Jose, California! We are thrilled to announce a Calligraphy Competition for showcasing your artistic skills and creativity. Here are the details:
Paper Size: Please use regular letter size paper (8.5” x 11”) for your calligraphy. Please ensure that the selected paper is of suitable quality and size.
Ink: The competition requires the use of black ink only. Please do not use any other colors.
Tool: Artists may use any type of pen or brush as preferred.
Content: Please use only one of the following three verses to showcase your talent.
दुरितांचे तिमिर जावो । विश्व स्वधर्मसूर्ये पाहो
जो जे वांच्छील तो ते लाहो । प्राणिजात ।।
ताम्रसुरा प्राशुन मातुदे दैत्य नभामधले
दडुद्या पाताळी सविता
आणि तयांची ही अधिराणी दुभंग धरणीला
करायला पाजुळुदे पलीता !
वसे मेरूमांदार हे सृष्टिलीला । शशी सूर्य तारांगणे मेघमाला ।।
चिरंजीव केले जनी दास दोन्ही । नुपेक्षी कदा राम दासाभिमानी ।।
Judges: A panel of three judges will evaluate each entry and determine the winners. The panel’s decision will be final.
Winners: Three outstanding participants will be selected as winners for this competition. Stay tuned for the exciting prizes.
